Mandatory training consists of 14 modules which including topics on communication skills, effects of caregiving, child and youth development, attachment, separation and loss, child abuse and neglect, guiding behaviour of children and youth, substance misuse, cultural responsiveness, aboriginal children in care, FAS/FAE/NAS and suicide awareness.more info
Behaviour Resource Team – School District 72: Student Services
The Behaviour Resource Team, consisting of two Teachers and two Youth Care Workers, helps students who are experiencing difficulties within the school system because of issues regarding behaviour, absenteeism, or personal lifestyle.more info

Quality licensed group care for up to 24 children aged newborn to 36 months, including snacks and lunches, with priority for space given to participants in the Campbell River Young Parents' Program.more info

Family Learning Program
The Campbell River Literacy Association uses a multi-pronged delivery model including small groups, community based workshops, and one to one tutoring to encourage an adult's engagement with literacy to help support their children's progress. Through mentoring and modelling, facilitators encourage parents to examine their family literacy goals and to access resources and programs designed to encourage re-entry into education settings and improve their employability.
