Infant Development Program

  • Serving children aged 0-3 years with developmental delay or who are at risk for delay (including prenatal exposure to alcohol and drugs)

Speech and Language Program

Physical Therapy Program

  • Works with children and families in the clinic, home and community-based environments
  • Provides physiotherapy intervention to children between birth and school entry with motor difficulties or who are at risk for motor difficulties
  • Presenting conditions might include: motor delays, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, prematurity, orthopaedic conditions, respiratory conditions, and muscle diseases
  • Children are seen in the home, clinic, community setting, or child care setting

Occupational Therapy Program

  • Assessment

  • Liaison with other professionals involved with the child and family
  • Works with children and families in the clinic, home and community-based environments
  • Provides intervention, recommenndations and adaptive activities to assist children to develop the skills necessary to participate as independently as possible in everyday activities
  • Serving children with fine motor difficulties, sensory integration problems, visual perception problems, body awareness and self-care skills

Family Resource Program

  • Complements other Early Intervention Therapies and Infant Development services by supporting families who have children with development difficulties, from birth to school entry who are on the EIT/IDP caseload
  • Advocating for community services for families on the EIT/IDP caseload
  • Working with preschool siblings of children receiving EIT/IDP services
  • Assisting EIT/IDP families in dealing with other services
  • Assisting families involved with EIT/IDP with funding needs for therapeutic equipment

Community Access Services This program for children with special needs, aged twelve to eighteen, provides opportunities for local leisure and recreational activities.
Employment Services Through training in job search skills, interview skills, and job-specific skills, Supported Employment works with local employers to assist individuals eligible for our services in obtaining meaningful work within the community.
FASD Key Worker Program The FASD Key Worker supports families with children between the ages of 0 and 19 who have a diagnosis of FASD, or suspected of having FASD.
Ironwood Place Ironwood Place is a 54 unit senior’s assisted living community. This program provides a range of hospitality services that promote independence, choice and dignity to the seniors who live there, to include two meals a day, recreational activities and housekeeping services.
Lion's Place Campbell River
Palmer Place Palmer Place is a twenty four unit permanent supportive housing for persons with developmental disabilities, and/or women with children who are in need of affordable housing.
Passages Day Program This program provides supports and teaching in the areas of daily living, social, communication, pre-vocational, recreation, and leisure and provides opportunities to access their community.
Recreation and Leisure Program This program offers leisure and recreation activities to adults with developmental disabilities who have moved from full time to part time employment or to retirement.
Residential Services This program is responsible for the operation of several staffed residential group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Each home has unique characteristics but share a caring, supportive environment to help people achieve their optimal level of independence.
RIVERCITY INCLUSION RIVERCITY INCLUSION provides and advocates for local services to support people of all ages with special needs, their families and caregivers.
Semi-Independent Living This program supports adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own home or apartment. The staff provide assistance in daily living skills to include banking, budgeting/bill paying, grocery shopping, household maintenance, social and leisure, and personal hygiene.
Supported Child Development Program This program supports children from birth to twelve years of age, who have a developmental disability to fully participate in inclusive neighbourhood child care programs.
