When yoga classes are taught from a trauma-informed perspective, it has been proven to be helpful for survivors. Yoga can be both stimulating and soothing and it is important that these classes provide an opportunity for participants to feel safe, soothed and secure while our qualified instructor uses trauma-informed skills to emphasize present-state awareness. |
