Servicing Campbell River and surrounding area, the Campbell River Literacy Association uses both one to one and small group training models, supported by trained volunteer tutors, to assist approximately 125 learners yearly. Individualized learning plans focus on one of three key objectives: the enhancement of personal literacy skills leading to continued education, the improvement in the learner's functional literacy to support success in the workplace or workplace training, and language acquisition services for lower level ESL learners.more info

We are a registered non-profit society, whose mandate is to foster and promote literacy, and the importance of literacy in individual lives as well as society as a whole.
