Campbell River Diabetes Education Centre offers free medical assistance and information about self-management of Type 1 (children and adults), Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes. Individual appointments and/or group sessions are available to individuals of all ages.
Services Available
- Individual appointments with Diabetes Nurse Educators &/or Dietitians
- Small group classes
- Gestational diabetes instruction
- Certification in blood glucose monitoring (required for discounted blood glucose monitor strips)
- Telephone/email contact for day to day problem solving
