Mental Health and Substance Use

To restore, preserve and promote the wellbeing of adults, 19 to under 65 years of age, by ensuring the provision of effective and responsive mental health and substance use. Adults 65 years of age or older who are presenting with a pre-existing mental illness and/or substance use as a focus for services may also be considered for services.

Adult Mental Health & Substance Use provide:

  • Assessment
  • Treatment: individual, case management and/or group
  • Psychiatric consultation
  • Medication assessment & management
  • Educational and therapeutic groups
  • Individual and group counselling
  • A range of psycho-social rehabilitation programs and services
  • Residential Programs (Family Care Homes, subsidized housing)
  • Family support
  • Peer support
  • Community education and consultation
  • Community lending library
