Strong Start

Operational Principles/Mission Statement

Strong Start is a program sponsored by the BC Ministry of Education to provide free drop in pre-school programming for children and parents. At each center a trained facilitator works with children and families to develop early social and developmentally appropriate skills which help in the transition to Kindergarten. Strong Start is designed to support families in working with developing children in a fun and safe environment. Strong Friendships between participants are very common.
