Alcoholics Anonymous (District 3, Campbell River)
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety by attending the 12 Step meetings.
Operating Principles
- Alcoholics Anonymous is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposed any causes.
Programs Offered
- 24 hour answering service – Immediate contact with a volunteer (phone numbers are given) for those who need it
- Please call for meeting times and locations
- 12 Step meetings for members to attend
Population Served
Anyone who is trying to recover from alcoholism and achieve sobriety.
