HOSPICE COTTAGE at YUCALTA LODGE

The four bed, private hospice unit began receiving patients in March 2017.

The hospice space is designed to support patients and their families with medical and psychosocial care through to the end of life.

Hospice volunteer services include anticipatory grief, vigil support, bereavement counselling and caregiver support, as needed.

Lending Library Books, audiocassettes & DVD’s, brochures, government forms, estate information, funeral home info, etc.
Relaxation Therapies Relaxation Therapies: Therapeutic Touch, Reflexology & Reiki.
Sally Wellman Memorial Garden Purchase a plaque from Hospice in memory of a loved one. Families may also plant a non-invasive plant in the garden.
Second to None Thrift Store Offering second hand goods for sale.
Therapeutic Relaxation Skills A therapeutic relaxation class in a group setting for persons struggling with illness or grief.
Vigil Response Team Provides volunteer support.
