Aboriginal Family Learning Program

Presented in community locations, the Aboriginal Family Learning Program is open to everyone in Campbell River and the surrounding areas. With the support and wisdom of Aboriginal adults, this program focuses on and honours the cultural assets of its participants. Offering a family literacy program in three instructional formats; our facilitators assist learners in recognizing their personal skills and further explore how those skills may fit into the workplace and community. Through respectful interactions and peer modeling, learners are further encouraged to explore their connection to literacy education and promote workplace training opportunities.more info
