The Salvation Army – Evergreen House
The Salvation Army’s Evergreen House operates in partnership with BC Housing as an emergency shelter for adults experiencing homelessness. They provide 22 beds and meet basic needs for showers, laundry, clothing and two nutritious meals per day. Evergreen House also hosts six seasonal beds for Extreme Weather Response November to March.more info

TOPS is a non-profit weight loss support group. Weekly meetings provide peer support and include a weigh-in and educational programs centered around nutrition and exercise as well as contests and fun activities.more info
Tourette Canada
The volunteers of Tourette Canada and the Victoria Chapter are dedicated to help individuals with Tourette Syndrome and their families by: providing information of TS and its associated disorders; raising awareness and understanding of TS in the Community; and providing support to those affected by TS.more info

The North Island Survivors’ Healing Society is committed to providing professional counselling programs and services that address the psychological needs of individuals who are affected by trauma and/or abuse. more info
Trauma Counselling Program
Professional individual counseling is offered for people who are affected by trauma from war, medical diagnoses, recreational- workplace - and motor vehicle accidents, animal attacks and witnessing violence or injury.more info
Trauma Informed Yoga
When yoga classes are taught from a trauma-informed perspective, it has been proven to be helpful for survivors. Yoga can be both stimulating and soothing and it is important that these classes provide an opportunity for participants to feel safe, soothed and secure while our qualified instructor uses trauma-informed skills to emphasize present-state awareness. more info
