Stacy Folk, M.Ed., Registered Clinical Counsellor

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#3792) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. This is a professional designation that indicates that a counsellor has met criteria for education, experience, and supervised practice. I have been working in the counselling field for over 15 years. I have a Masters in Educational Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. I practice from an integrated approach of compassionate communication, mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy and somatic psychotherapy. I specialize in supporting youth and adults suffering with Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The impact of trauma is severe and manifests in specific ways for each individual. By supporting clients through different trauma informed practice modalities, individuals can work to heal and regain control of their lives. I am excited to support my clients journey of healing and self discovery.
