Adult Literacy Program
Servicing Campbell River and surrounding area, the Campbell River Literacy Association uses both one to one and small group training models, supported by trained volunteer tutors, to assist approximately 125 learners yearly. Individualized learning plans focus on one of three key objectives: the enhancement of personal literacy skills leading to continued education, the improvement in the learner's functional literacy to support success in the workplace or workplace training, and language acquisition services for lower level ESL learners.more info
Alternate Education Program (Campbell River Young Parents' Program)
Most young parents in the CRYPP attend Carihi Secondary or alternate educational programs at Robron Centre but may be attending another secondary school, Continuing Education or North Island College.more info
Employment Services
Through training in job search skills, interview skills, and job-specific skills, Supported Employment works with local employers to assist individuals eligible for our services in obtaining meaningful work within the community.more info
